Use the existing product
Check reference, variant and unit before adding a purchase line. Duplicating an existing item can split its stock across two catalogue records.
Prepare the supplier order
Enter supplier, ordered quantities, currency and known costs. A prepared purchase order describes expected goods; it does not confirm that inventory has arrived.
Confirm actual receipts
On arrival, confirm the warehouse and quantities received. For a partial delivery, receive only the units physically present. Keep the supplier-order reference to trace the stock entry.
Verify the product record
Refresh the product and inspect physical stock, reservations, availability and warehouse history. If you use several warehouses, check the warehouse selected on receipt.
